Background

Orient Copper was established in 1983 in Borg El Arab, located 60km from the city of Alexandria, Egypt in 2500 square meters primarily as a brass casting foundry and then later in other metal treatments.

In 1993 the company started to specialize in water meter brass parts production(casting, machining etc)

Orient Copper was a pioneer  in the Egyptian market producing pressure die casting brass products and was the first to produce the die-casted water meter headcap in Egypt.

Since 2009 the company is authorised by MADDALENA S.p.A. Udine, Italy one of the international leaders in measuring industry, and we became the manufacturer for the Italian meters, mainly for the domestic market, offering complete water meters and integrated solutions.

Orient Copper exported many of its product in the Middle East and Europe.

 Was a subcontractor for many Italian companies.

Painting line

Electrostastic epoxy paint (food grade) that ensures the longevity of our product and the endurance of all external factors.

Machining line

Precision is essential in machining the brass parts of the water meter.

Calibration and Measuring line.

Full automated test benches for calibration and testing of our products, this allows us to produce quantities whilst maintaining the best quality to each and every unit.
